Research and Development of Methods for Characterization of Reservoirs via Joint Seismic Inversion for Petrophysical Properties and Litofacies integrated with the Pseudo-Well Simulation
Description: To develop Research and Development activities of algorithms and tools to solve the problem of joint seismic inversion for petrophysical and facies properties with uncertainty estimation. A priori knowledge about the reservoir, such as the depositional environment, spatial statistics, rock physics models and the probability of lithofacies should be incorporated resulting in a reduction of the ambiguity inherent in traditional methods.
