SICRES – Intelligent Reservoir Characterization System

Description: The main objective of this project is the generation and development of intelligent tools for modeling reservoir properties from the integration of well information and seismic attributes. Among the Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies that can be used to construct these tools are neural computation, fuzzy reasoning, evolutionary computation and hybrid techniques of these approaches. These tools should always seek to adequately incorporate aspects of imprecision and uncertainty.
