Research and Development of Efficient and Scalable Methods for Uncertainty Estimation in Petrophysical Modeling of Reservoir Properties
Description: The main objective of this project is to investigate the sources of uncertainty involved in the modeling, characterization and exploration of oil reservoirs and, from this study, to develop Research and Development activities that allow the creation and implementation of efficient, scalable and efficient computational methods to estimate the uncertainty and the analysis of the risks involved in the Petrophysical Modeling of Reservoir Properties, especially in problems of nonlinear seismic inversion and analysis of seismic facies in complex reservoirs such as carbonate reservoir.
